| Brief Church Mission Statement:
The church is committed to spread the good news of Jesus Christ and to serve the Taiwanese community in metropolitan Atlanta. As a community of faith, we strive to extending hospitality and building loving relationships within and beyond the Taiwanese community that invigorate our worship of God through the sharing of our lives and the teaching of Christ. The church is to provide worship, fellowship, outreach, ministry, and learning opportunities according to the best practices of Presbyterian tradition. The hope is for people in the communities through the church to experience the love of God, personal growth in faith, the joy of fellowship, and increased ability to serve others in need. |

| Brief description of the church/organization's programs or accomplishments: The church provides worship services in Taiwanese and English, and sometimes in Mandarin Chinese. It offers Childcare and Bible classes to various age groups including adult and children Sunday Schools. It organizes senior citizen and women fellowships by monthly programs on health and social issues. It also organizes small Bible study groups in private homes during the week which provide opportunity to enhance the faith, develop fellowship relationship, and address individual concerns related to social, professional, and personal growth. The church also offers care and recreational opportunities to Taiwanese student population in universities of metropolitan Atlanta. It maintains an active outreach program for young adults as “Kalok” fellowship. In addition, the church budget supports Presbyterian Seminaries and General Assembly Missionaries, as well as maintains an adoption program for African Kids. It seeks and grows relationship with Presbyterian and other minority churches by music programs and cultural exchange functions and by church adoption program. It also participates as an active member church of National Taiwanese Presbyterian Council. The church facility frequently serves public functions for the greater Taiwanese community organizations. Annually, church conducts Vacation Bible School (Summer School), a congregation wide study retreat and dispatches mission teams to Taiwan and US disaster areas. |

| Gifts, Skills and Experiences the congregation possesses to fulfill its mission: The majority membership of the congregation is multi-generational and multi-lingual. We are blessed to have families with grandparents, parents, and grandchildren who may be speaking different languages (Taiwanese, Chinese, and English) in the same church. The language diversity equips us with ability to build relationship, to communicate and outreach to various communities. The church cultivates and promotes new leaders among the young people. This enables us to overcome many generational conflicts that plague numerous Taiwanese and Asian churches. We are also blessed to have a variety of professionals in academics and businesses, a few of them are leaders in their own fields. We are fortunate also to have experienced church workers who have served in leadership positions in the governing bodies in US and in Taiwan, at the individual church level and at the Presbytery level. Some of our members and/or their relatives are graduates of seminaries and ordained ministers. They provide theological resources to guide us on church polity, conflict resolution, open communication, and mission targeting. |

| Key theological issues of the church and society that are reflected in the ministry of the congregation/organization:
The majority of our members are first generation immigrants from Taiwan. Many left home country due to political repression and lack of opportunity to improve their lives. Most experienced hardships in societal and cultural adjustments as immigrants to this country. Only for the love of God, with a determination to pursue and enjoy freedom, the founding members created this sacred space for their faith to flourish, for the extended community of like-minded to come and join, and to promote justice, reconciliation and peace everywhere. We uphold the religious tradition of Presbyterian values, and share our cultural heritage of Taiwan with others. We believe our salvation is in Jesus Christ. |
